HP-DE150

The HP-DE150 is a high pressure extraction unit designed for process studies on solid materials and small productions. The solvent (often supercritical carbon dioxide) flows through the samples placed inside an autoclave/extractor. The extract dissolves in the scCO2 and is precipitated at decreased pressure in a separator downstream of an expansion valve. The recycled solvent is pumped back to the autoclave after being condensed by a chilling unit for reaching the extraction conditions and closing the solvent loop. The extract is retrieved at the bottom of the separator.
