Chemical Processes: Multiscale Modeling of multiphase reactors (multi-phase)
The “Multi-Phase” project aimed at energetic optimization of multiphase reactors, especially bubble columns. Eurotechnica contributed in supply of material data such as interfacial tension and adaptation of online optical detection systems to non-atmospheric operating conditions. Different optical methods, e.g. for detecting pH, particle size and concentrations, were tested and validated using eurotechnica equipment. An equipment from Eurotechnica was used to measure the rising velocity of bubbles and mass transfer in a counter-current flow
