Development of an apparatus to characterize the evaporation-induced foamability under technically representative conditions
The aim of the project is to develop a foam analysis apparatus as a robust measuring device that can be used for technically representative conditions to investigate evaporation-induced foams. This is intended to meet the existing demand for characterizing the foaming capacity of systems under boiling conditions and the foams that are generated outside the production facilities in order to derive measures for controlling and destroying undesirable foams in thermal processes in the
material-converting industry.
